The home offers welcoming spaces that invite you to slow down and recharge between hiking Acadia, kayaking Frenchman Bay, and exploring local trails. From soaking in the private 6-person hot tub to gathering on the deck around the glowing fire table, every detail supports your time outdoors. Inside, three distinct bedrooms feature dual king beds that offer a deep, sink-in comfort, making you feel instantly at home before you head down to the basement fitness area.
LIVING AND ENTERTAINING
The warm living room features comfortable seating for the whole group where you can unwind after a long day on the trails. The layout offers an easy, natural flow just steps away from the kitchen, keeping you close to the action while enjoying your own distinct space to relax. At the center of the room, a versatile lift-top coffee table easily raises up for casual dining, board games, or setting up a laptop.
A dedicated AC mini-split keeps the room perfectly cool after a summer excursion. When evening sets in, turn on the floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and stream your favorite shows on the 55-inch Roku smart TV, surrounded by subtle nature-themed artwork that gives the space its relaxing forest atmosphere.
KITCHEN AND DINING
The whole family can come together and cook up a delicious breakfast or a picnic lunch within the fully equipped kitchen, surrounded by warm wooden cabinets and a dedicated pantry that provides plenty of storage for all your vacation groceries. The space features a stainless-steel refrigerator with an ice maker, an over-range microwave, a dishwasher, an air fryer, and a versatile Keurig Duo coffee station for both single pods and full carafes.
Positioned right by the main entry door, the kitchen connects directly to the deck, making it effortless to transition between indoor cooking and outdoor dining. Inside, a high-top dining table serves as the perfect central hub to share home-cooked meals and plan the day's adventure. The entire room is anchored by a striking black-and-white feature wall adorned with tree silhouette vinyl decals, bringing a beautiful touch of the Maine wilderness right to the dinner table.

After a long day exploring the Maine coast, the home’s single-level sleeping quarters provide a quiet place to disconnect, unpack, and recharge for the next day's adventures. Every bedroom is styled with consistent pine trim, nature-themed decor, and memory foam mattresses, alongside built-in USB charging ports directly in the nightstands. At the end of the hallway, a full-length mirror offers a dedicated secondary station for the group to get ready outside of the main bathroom.
• The Primary: Features a king-sized memory foam bed beneath a beautiful pine ceiling, a ceiling fan, a dedicated floor-console heating and cooling unit, dual windows looking out into the trees, a closet, and a Roku TV.
• The Flower Room (Bedroom Two): Offers a king-sized memory foam bed framed by a chevron wood headboard, a stand fan for extra airflow, warm wall sconces, orchid lamps, a closet, and a Roku TV.
• The Queen Guest Room (Bedroom Three): Equipped with a queen-sized memory foam bed, a matching light wood dresser, a ceiling fan, and a Roku TV.
To keep your group refreshed, the central bathroom is wrapped in full pine paneled walls. The space is anchored by a double vanity beneath a large mirror with integrated perimeter backlighting, a tub/shower combination, and a heated towel rack to warm up your towels on chilly Maine mornings.
BASEMENT FITNESS & LAUNDRY
Located in the basement, this multifunctional space serves as the home's dedicated hub for physical recovery and gear maintenance between coastal excursions.
For your workouts, the fitness area is equipped with a treadmill, a workout bench, a heavy punching bag with gloves provided, and three sets of dumbbells (25, 30, and 50 pounds) to keep up with your training routine. Just steps away, the full-sized washer and dryer provide the perfect setup for washing down hiking gear, active clothing, or beach towels during extended stays, ensuring you are fully prepared for the next day's trail.
CONNECTIVITY & REMOTE WORK
When duty calls, high-speed Wi-Fi runs dependably throughout the entire home, keeping remote workers and traveling professionals securely connected. While Amberwood does not feature a dedicated office desk, the main level offers plenty of comfortable, adaptable options for setting up a laptop.
You can easily jump on a morning call from the kitchen's high-top table, utilize the bedroom dressers as standing stations, or lift the living room's versatile coffee table to transform the sofa into a comfortable workspace.
OUTDOOR SPACES
The rear outdoor space serves as the true heart of the retreat. Stepping directly out from the kitchen door brings you onto an expansive wooden deck featuring built-in bench seating that wraps around three sides. Here, your group can gather each night around the glowing propane fire table to relax under the Maine sky.
The deck steps down directly into the private 6-person hot tub area, offering a seamless transition for evening soaking. To reach the rest of the property, a wooden ramp leads from the deck down to a large front yard and a private, grassy backyard that backs into a thick, mature forest. For pet owners, an overhead dog tether run is installed in the yard, providing a secure way for your dog to enjoy the fresh coastal air alongside you.
PARKING & ARRIVAL UTILITIES
Designed for seamless arrivals and stress-free departures, the property features a paved main driveway that leads into an expansive gravel loop. This pull-through design eliminates the need to ever back out, making it effortless to maneuver your boat rigs, ATV trailers, or large equipment setups.
To support your daily excursions, a Level 2 EV charging station is ready to power up your electric vehicle overnight. Upon returning from the Sunrise Trail or a day on the water, you will find a dedicated outdoor wash station with a high-flow hose, perfect for rinsing off your ATVs, boats, and muddy hiking gear before heading inside.
ATTENTION OTHER THINGS TO NOTE!
Guest Arrival & Entrance
When arriving at Amberwood, please note that the primary entrance into the home is located via the rear deck. You will follow the wooden ramp up to the back deck, where the main entry door opens directly into the kitchen.
Bathroom Layout
Please note that the home features one full bathroom located on the main living floor. While it is designed with a double vanity and a backlit mirror to maximize space, larger groups will want to coordinate their morning routines. To help with this, a full-length mirror is installed at the end of the hallway to provide an extra area for getting ready outside of the bathroom.
Basement Access
The laundry station and fitness gear are located in a designated section of the basement, which is unfinished. Accessing this area requires walking down a typical set of basement stairs equipped with a secure handrail. If your group does not plan to use these specific amenities, the rest of the home offers true single-story living entirely on the main floor.
Garage Disclosure
The separate garage building located next to the house is reserved for owner use, and the owner may occasionally access it. This occurs infrequently and with minimal disruption. Guest spaces—including the entire paved and gravel driveway, front yard, backyard, hot tub, and deck—remain completely exclusive and private to your group.
Heating & Cooling
The two mini-split heat pumps located in the living room and primary bedroom are powerful enough to comfortably heat and cool the entire home. The additional ceiling and tower fans are provided simply to help circulate the airflow through the rooms if you prefer.
